Love Will Tear Us Apart

So, I was playing around with the new Hype Machine, and I decided to listen to Love Will Tear Us Apart, because it’s been playing in my head non-stop since seeing the trailer for Control before My Kid Could Paint That last Saturday.

Afterwards, I decided to search HM for “Nouvelle Vague.” No real reason, the phrase was just knockin’ around in my head, too. I had a gut feeling it was an artist, but maybe it was an art movement from the 60’s, or something entirely different, wonderful and unknown. Turns out, it is an artist. I hit play on the first track and got back to my web surfing. A few tracks later though, I heard bits of a very familiar sequence. How odd.
