Bright Blind
28 Nov 2007 by David Goligorsky
Those electric tea lights have all but replaced the traditional tea light candles in restaraunts and I don’t really mind. The electric ones give you the whole unadulterated experience while adding safety, reducing waste products, and eliminating the chance of the candle getting extinguished.

Makoto Hirahara designed this lamp for Mongoose that just looks like horizontal blinds. You can mount them on any wall and you adjust the intensity of light by turning the rod, just like with blinds on an actual window. No, it’s not the same as having a window… but I’m thinking “cubicle window” or “basement window.” (via Apartment Therapy)
