Time Piece by Jim Henson

When people from the Sesame Street (read: my) generation think of Jim Henson’s more “mature” work, they often envision the The Dark Crystal.
Time Piece is from two decades earlier in his career and is something else altogether—mature subject, awesome motifs, abstract, surreal, l’art pour l’art…shall I go on? It anticipates much of his later work and is truly hypnotic.
