Gentleman’s Whiskey & Chat

10 Mar 2008 by David Goligorsky

Thank you all so much for coming out to the Perpenduum Society of the Gentleman’s Whiskey & Chat! By all accounts, it was a great success.

Thanks to all the Gentlemen and Gentleladies that came out to Somerville’s Union Square on a rainy Friday evening. Thank you to GRAND for opening up their fantastic shop to our hullaballoo. Keep checking in on their fantastic design offerings! Thank you to Bloc 11 (the sister shop to Davis Square’s Diesel Cafe) for providing delicious comestibles and coffee. I highly recommend visiting Bloc 11 for a latte (perfect latte art) or a full meal. I especially like their egg sandwich on rosemary focaccia on a weekend morning. Thank you to our musical guests, The Simon Brothers (alter ego of rock group The Double-Stops) and Haruki Naginata. Thank you to Cornerstone and Bushmills for supplying not only their Bushmills Original whiskey, but also their Black Bush single malt matured in a sherry-seasoned oak cask. Both were smooth and delicious.

It was incredible to have so many people come out in all their finery for an evening of refined taste and discussion over our favorite drink. We hope this will become a tradition, so please stay tuned.
