Wim Delvoye - Belgian Artist by David Goligorsky

Check out Beligan Artist Wim Delvoye. He has some incredible original and extremely disparate pieces of work. His projects include sawblades and gas canisters that are decorated in a classical porcelain styling (pictured), incredibly ornate laser cut steel installations, bizarre x-ray stained glass, pigs with Louis Vuitton tattoos, machinery that emulates bodily processes, and innumerable other projects, often with controversy à la Damien Hirst. Type 304 by David Goligorsky

My friend at Type 304 has been working on these fantastic mirror installations. Although they are defined by clean, modern lines, the reflecting angles of each component piece offer a very dynamic element to a space. Imagine the room without the mirror and you get a better sense of what it can accomplish. Although this mirror installation instantly draws the eye and changes an entire space, it's ironically understated and not ostentatious. I've been spending serious time on Photoshop and InDesign putting something together for this year's MUJI competition. The fingers are very tired of magnetic lasso. Apparently, someone else has been playing around in Adobe apps... Almost every major news source had run an image of an Iranian missile test that has since been called "apparently digitally altered."
