ONull is written in Java and uses Processing as a graphical engine. Awesome vector generator that rasterizes an image to give you a vector output file. You can choose the squares, crosses, circles, etc. or you can import your own vector to use as the "pixels." Excellent tool.

I know it's been quiet on the Perpenduum front for a bit but it's only because we've been so busy that we've even forgotten our birthday! Perpenduum was registered two years ago on August 21st, 2007. Finding the average color in an image by David Goligorsky

Just thinking about a project and quickly found this free online tool by Wise Geek that finds the average color in an image. Seems to be good! I've done things like this in MATLAB before, but it's unnecessarily complicated and Photoshop doesn't seem to have a good way to do this... please comment if you have a better solution. "Keep Calm and Carry On" was a sort of public service statement in England during World War II. Yes/No/Maybe has reproduced this phrase, which had been paired with the crown of King George VI. I've seen the print in a huge spectrum of colors and framed in a vast variety of frame style from modern to downright Victorian (no pun intended.) I've been spending serious time on Photoshop and InDesign putting something together for this year's MUJI competition. The fingers are very tired of magnetic lasso. Apparently, someone else has been playing around in Adobe apps... Almost every major news source had run an image of an Iranian missile test that has since been called "apparently digitally altered." The 1967 Citroen 2cv brochure for the Netherlands is fantastic. It defines utility and envisions heavy labor in a very attractive manner. It gives the impression that ownership of this vehicle will make dirty work clean and enable the owner to achieve complete and permanent euphoria. The car looks perfect and I admire the presentation of the same mustachioed gentleman embodying all archetype laborers. My favorite is the bank robber.
