  One of photographer Matteo Ferrari's personal projects includes finding people who have been driving the same car for decades. He then arranges a photograph with the owner to match a photograph from when the car was purchased. I came across this work via the blog of Yorgo Tloupas, the creative director and publisher of Intersection magazine, which I have been a fan of since I accidentally found issue #1 at a newsstand in Penn Station (NYC) back in 2001-ish.   Jason Schwartzman parodies MTV Cribs as Louis XVI in the Palace de Versailles. A beautiful example of sacrilege and iconoclasm.   Iceland appears to have a magical landscape. This photo from Flickr user hjaltijakobs reinforces that claim. Sigur Rós, the fantastic band from Iceland, has a remarkable video for their song Glósóli-- embedded below. (You can also download it here, which I actually recommend because you can play it at full screen with higher resolution and without the YouTube logo, which takes something out of the experience.)

  While on the subject of grotesquely rare, hyper-expensive goodies, check out this 160 megapixel digital camera! It costs $45,600 and creates photographs that take about 900MB of disk space. You'd need a supremely powerful computer to work with these images and certainly a movie theater screen to do any useful editing. To make things more interesting, this thing is 18 inches wide and weighs 10 pounds. (via Dustbowl)
